Assistant Director, Admissions Employment Opportunities Designed to Help Us Collaborate in CreationPosition Details- Job Title: Assistant Director, Admissions- Position Number: *******- Work Modality: not specified- Job Category: University Staff- Job Type: Full-Time- FLSA Status: Exempt- Campus: Off-Campus/Remote- Department Name: UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS- Location: Northern California (Bay Area) & Pacific Northwest (Assigned territory)- Is this split and/or fully grant funded: NoDuties and Responsibilities- Responsible for all aspects regarding the recruitment of prospective freshmen in an assigned territory.- Live in Northern California in or around the Bay area and manage recruitment in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.- Establish a strategic approach with senior team to visit targeted high schools, attend college fairs, evaluate events, and follow up with prospects.- Extensive travel required.- Work and travel within the northern regional geographic areas to inform prospective students and families about Loyola.- Represent Loyola at various programs including high school visit days, college fairs, case studies, counselor events, outreach activities.- Build and maintain effective relationships with high school counselors and community college counselors.- Plan and arrange travel individually per university and departmental policies.- Travel to Chicago for large-scale admission events like fall open house programs and spring yield events such as Loyola Weekend.- Use CRM (Slate) for contact, reporting, planning, evaluation.- Actively engage and participate in professional organizations for recruiting and networking.- Read application files from assigned territory and other markets, make timely admission decisions.- Participate in recruitment, yield, and orientation events hosted on- and off-campus.- Develop and execute programming for targeted groups, including college counselors, in major markets.- Establish a home office in assigned territory.- Work independently with little supervision.- Perform related duties as required. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience• Bachelor's degree in related field and three to five years of related admissions experience. Qualifications- Experience in recruitment and admission is required.- Understanding of financial aid process is beneficial.- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to form effective working relationships.- Team player with ability to adapt to dynamic environment.- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload.- Bilingual skills beneficial but not required.- Ability to work independently with little supervision.- Must articulate the values and mission of a Jesuit institution. Certificates/Credentials/LicensesA valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.

Computer Skills- Ability to use MS Office Suite and related recruitment software or programs, Technologies Slate, PeopleSoft and DocFinity. Supervisory Responsibilities- No supervisory responsibilities.- No required operation of university-owned vehicles. Physical DemandsLifting, carrying, standing. Working ConditionsIrregular hours.
