Job TitleWe are currently seeking aSATCOM Power Technician Supporton behalf of a major International Organization.Mandatory requirement:valid NATO SECRET security clearanceModality:On-siteLanguage:English C1+ Local assignment language fluency (desirable).Job ProfileOur client requires a Power Technician Support Services to maintain, operate, and oversee their SATCOM Station power infrastructure.Services include maintenance of diesel generators, power distribution systems, HVAC, radomes, site security systems, and other station ancillary infrastructure, ensuring continuous availability of mission-critical SATCOM operations.The contractor will provide System Management Services supporting the SATCOM Operations Team in Lughezzano – Verona - Italy, focusing on server and network infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, and operational readiness.High Level Description of Main Activities Prime Power and GeneratorsMaintain prime power systems (transformer vaults to distribution boards).Operate and maintain diesel-electric generators, ensuring fuel supply and availability.Provide compliance inspections in accordance with CEI ***** prescriptions.No-Break Power SystemsOperate and maintain UPS, batteries, and emergency lighting.Ancillary SystemsPerform preventive maintenance on cross-site cabling, grounding, lightning protection, radomes, EMP pneumatic doors, and hydraulic systems.Provide basic maintenance of site security systems (gates, bollards, access infrastructure).Provide maintenance of HVAC, heating, air handling units, and fire protection systems.Collaborate with industry providers for contracted services under Site Engineer oversight.Support ActivitiesMaintain accurate service records in TT-Comms, ITSM, and site logbooks.Provide monthly status reports on maintenance, incidents, and improvements.Support Site Engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.The Contractor is expected to follow the Purchaser's working hours – Monday to Thursday from 08:30 until 17:30 and Friday from 08:30 until 15:30.There may be a requirement to work on shift basis.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field with 5 years technical experience.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in power systems maintenance, troubleshooting.Expertise in power distribution systems, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units, and generators.Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining equipment such as rectifiers, inverters, and RF amplifiers, with working knowledge of remote telemetry and control systems.Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and technical documentation for classified or mission-critical operations.Familiarity with DoD power system standards, STIG compliance for infrastructure components, and audit support for operational readiness.Freelancers are WelcomeCompetitive remuneration package.Private Insurance.A dynamic challenging environment resulting in continuous learning / education / progression.Ability to work with cutting-edge technologies.Pleasant working environment.Ability to expand knowledge and responsibilities.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting and International AffairsWe commit to promote Inclusion & Diversity by creating a working environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect and where individual differences are valued.We offer equal opportunity in all aspects of employment.#J-*****-Ljbffr
