OverviewGroup Accounting and Consolidation Specialist IQM selezione srl • Rome, ItalyLuogo di lavoro: Bologna.IQM Selezione is recruiting a Group Accounting and Consolidation Specialist for a multinational company based in Bologna.Ideal profileHigh school diploma in Accounting and / or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related fieldsPrevious experience in a similar role, gained in companies or accounting firmsGood level of autonomy in managing general accounting, accounting consolidation activities, and operational treasury tasksStrong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC) and solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), especially in a group and consolidated reporting environmentSolid knowledge of Italian VAT regulations and routine tax obligationsPractical knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, preferably in multi-entity or multinational environmentsGood command of MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, basic data analysis, reconciliation files)Precision, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a teamMandatory operational knowledge of English, Minimum B2 level of English (written and spoken)Residence near the company office (Bologna)Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesJoin the Accounting and Administration Department and work in coordination with a colleague, the external accountant, and international group counterparts in Spain and IndiaSupport group consolidation processes in addition to general accounting and operational treasury activitiesGeneral Accounting Operations: Manage general accounting up to the preparation of the pre-tax financial statements; Record cash / bank journal entries and perform periodic bank reconciliationsSupport for Closing and Reporting: Prepare accounting and financial documentation to support the external accountant for the year-end closing; Produce basic accounting reports (e.g., trial balance), also in English if requiredOperational Tax Compliance: Handle operational management of periodic VAT settlements; Prepare data for the annual VAT declaration in support of the external accountant; Manage F24 forms and withholding taxes; Support audit activities and tax inspectionsTreasury and Payments: Manage accounts payable and receivable schedules; Execute payments to suppliers; Operate as the main contact with banks and financial institutions for routine communicationsWorkplace and travelWorkplace: Bologna, Italy; occasional travel to group offices may be required.Contract and salaryPermanent contract, full-time (indicative gross annual salary *******).ApplicationInterested candidates are invited to send their CV (quoting the reference: Accounting Specialist BO) to the information section, after reading the privacy notice available on our website .#J-*****-Ljbffr
