Senior Software Engineer

Your missionAs a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend, Backend or Full-Stack) at mama health, your mission is to drive the innovation and development of our web applications, creating solutions that enhance user engagement and streamline patient care processes. You will utilize your expertise in front-end OR back-end technologies to build scalable, efficient, and secure software.Your profileJob Description:You will be in charge of the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will work closely with the CTO to deliver high-quality software that enhances user engagement and streamlines patient care processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain front-end components of our web applications usingTypeScript + Reactand/or our Backend inPython + LiteLLM + FastAPIDesign, deploy and manage AWS resources withAWS CDKWrite clean, scalable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and security.Collaborate with product managers and other developers to understand requirements and design comprehensive solutions.Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to incorporate into development practices.Requirements:5+ years of experienceas a professional software engineer with significant backend experience and solid frontend chops.Full fluency inEnglish(both written and spoken)Location — either of the following(All other applications will be ignored):Reside and be legally authorized to work inItaly(remote from anywhereinItaly)In-office inBerlinBachelor's or Master'sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong programming skills in TypeScript or PythonProficiency with SQL and NoSQL databasesProficiency with RESTAbility to work autonomously on complex projects with minimal guidance.Nice to have: DevOps experience with the AWS CDK and/or KubernetesNice to have: Understanding of ML/AI technologies, which would be beneficial in driving further innovation within our tech-driven health solutions.Why us?mama health is entering a pivotal stage: we're scaling fast on the way to our Series A.
