BUSINESS CONTROLLINGInternAbout UsSafilo is among the most important players in the eyewear market for design, production and distribution of sunglasses, prescription frames, sports glasses, helmets and goggles.Among our brands we boast of some historical/timeless brands such as Polaroid and Carrera and other cutting-edge brands such as BOSS, Hugo, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, Fossil, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, Pierre Cardin, Moschino, Levi's, Missoni.We believe in the centrality of people, the importance of innovation and sustainability, which are not just nice words, but become an inclusive path where we are all involved.And the ability to create value through this is our goal.Who We Are Looking ForWe are currently looking for a brilliant and motivated new resource to join our Group Business Controlling team at the Padova HQ.The internship will last 6 months and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the eyewear industry, supporting key business analysis and controlling activities.As a Business Controlling Intern, you will be responsible for:Support the main activities of the Group Business Controlling unit, working together a young talented team;Update and maintain daily analysis to capture and flag key deviations vs Budget/Previous Year, having the possibility to monitor our Group performance among several dimensions like: Brands, Markets, and Channels;Perform Profitability Analysis by Market/Customer/Brand/Product to identify areas of improvement;Support the monthly process of Forecast and Budget review;Develop in-depth knowledge of a multinational organization and key processes led by the Group Controlling;Support the Finance & Controlling Manager and executives with ad-hoc analysis.You Are The Person We Are Looking For IfYou hold a university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or Statistics;You are fluent in English;You have excellent skills in Excel;You possess an analytical mindset and are comfortable working with large datasets;You are precise, detail-oriented, and organized;You are a strong team player, able to meet objectives and work under tight deadlines;You are eager to learn, proactive, and have a problem-solving attitude.What We OfferA working environment based on a solid corporate culture, where you can confront yourself with many professionals and enrich your skills;A Smart work mode that allows you to live your best work-life balance (2 days a week / free location).If you see yourself in the job description, send us your application and become part of our team
