Position Summary We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Biassono (MB) who will be responsible and accountable for customer management, operational management, quality performance, Health&Safety, Security and Environmental management of the AST ITA Plant.The Operations Manager will provide regular and appropriate performance informations to STERIS Managers/Director and ensure compliance to all relevant Company and legal regulations.Responsibilities- Ensure safe operations of the plant and company by development of an effective safety culture, enforcement of safety practices in compliance to internal and external requirements and regulations.- In conjunction with the (Senior) Sales Managers ensure the effective management of existing and new Customers and drive Customer satisfaction.- Provide Leadership to ensure continuous improvement of business processes and activities in line with STERIS world class safety objectives and the Quality management system.- Manage and develop 14+ staff, allocate resources and assign specific duties to achieve pre- determined commercial and business objectives for the business in the plant- Ensure that the business operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies.- Apply to STERIS Values, culture and ethos managing the business, it's Customers and staff.Education Degree- Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience- Demonstrated team leadership experience, even at an early career level.- Proven technical capabilitySkills- Proven leadership qualities (leading by example)- Acute awareness of the importance of safety to the business- Willing to go the extra mile for our Customers (Customer First, always)- Good understanding of the principle of continuous improvement- Well-developed understanding of risk and risk avoidance- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)- Good understanding of the local business market.Some exposure to the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries would be a distinct advantage- Significant Decision Making or Problem Solving authoritySTERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.WE HELP OUR CUSTOMERS CREATE A HEALTHIER AND SAFER WORLD by providing innovative healthcare and life sciences products and services around the globe.For more information, visit .#J-*****-Ljbffr
