OverviewSaipem is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore.Saipem is "One Company" organized into business lines: Asset Based Services, Drilling, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.Always oriented towards technological innovation, the company's purpose is "Engineering for a sustainable future".As such Saipem is committed to supporting its clients on the energy transition pathway towards Net Zero, with increasingly digital means, technologies and processes geared for environmental sustainability.Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose of the positionAs Mechanical QC Inspector, you will respond to the Quality Control Manager and be part of the Energy Carriers within job Bioraffineria di Livorno.You will manage and support 5 people.ResponsibilitiesIn accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment, steel structure, construction / installation activities and HVAC on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records.Obtain and acquire knowledge of project documentation and specification requirements, standards and codes as required by the scope of the contract.Ensure notification to client for inspection as per approved QCP requirement.Ensure that incoming materials and Mechanical items receive inspections.Ensure that all testing and measuring equipment are identified, calibrated and suitable for testing and that instructions for their use and setting are available.Check daily, and prior to start of onsite work, that environmental conditions are adequate;
