Engineering Function Lead

For the Electronics Business team - Display and Cluster - of Marelli, we are looking for an Engineering Function Lead that will be responsible for managing all the activities related to Platform Architectures at engineering level.It will be responsible for leading and technically managing the bidding process of Display and Cluster products, ensuring the feasibility, profitability, and innovation of the solutions proposed in response to requests for quotations (RFQs).This role requires strong technical expertise in the cross functional sectors, excellent market understanding, and the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams to develop valuable and competitive propositions.Main activities/responsibilities:RFQ Technical Evaluation: Analyze technical specifications, customer requirements, and market expectations for new business opportunities, defining the technical strategy for responding to RFQs.RFQ Bidding Project Management: Coordinate the research and development activities required to prepare the bid, ensuring compliance with deadlines and required quality standards.RFQ System Solutions Development: Lead the ideation and development of innovative, cutting-edge solutions, combining expertise in mechanics, electronics, and optics.RFQ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure complete alignment of proposals.RFQ Estimation and Planning: Starting from Platform reuse, Define the technical feasibility, BOM solution, development and production costs, and timelines of proposed projects.RFQ Technical Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with proposals and future projects.RFQ Reporting: Provide periodic reports on the performance of proposals and the status of development projects.Support Monitor and identification of key technologies and components in order to realize products starting from Product Management requirements Support Platform Architectural Design processes deployment inside platform development Oversee the selection of components and technologies, collaborating with suppliers Coordinate HW, Mechanic, Optics and Prototyping departments activities ensuring compliance with requirements Key Skills:Organizational Processes taking into account continuous improvement Strong leadership Knowledge of economical/financial aspect (Initiative, Budget, Reporting) High capacity of synthesis for all the technical issues Problem solving attitude Customer management ability Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence tools) knowledge Language SkillsAdvanced written and spoken English Good written and spoken German Education & Former Experience:Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree.4+ years in the role of System ArchitectProject / Product management for automotive market.Consolidate technical experience in HW, Mechanical, Displaz and SW design for Automotive.Experienced in planning, monitoring and control activities (Project Management & Tools)This position is located in Corbetta (MI).Grafton è il brand globale che si occupa di Professional Recruitment di Gi Group Holding, la prima multinazionale italiana del lavoro e una tra le principali realtà che offrono servizi e consulenza HR a livello globale.L'offerta si intende rivolta a candidati ambosessi, nel rispetto del D.Lgs.n.******** e ss.Mm.Ii.e dei Decreti Legislativi n.215 e n.216 del **** sulle parità di trattamento.I candidati sono invitati a leggere l'informativa privacy ai sensi degli artt.13 e 14 del Reg.EU ******** al seguente indirizzo (Aut.
