financial landscape.In this pivotal position, you will play an instrumental role supporting processes that are essential to Amazon's financial planning capabilities by partnering broadly across the Finance organization to translate complex numbers into compelling narratives and insights that guide executive leadership.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive financial bridges, narratives and strategic documents for executive leadership, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processesCollaborate proactively with business finance teams using a customer-obsessed approach to ensure data accuracy and alignment of financial reportingCreate guidance and workback plans to support key financial review meetings and processesSupport process governance and improvement by implementing solutions using AI tools and automation technologies to enhance financial analysis and insightsUtilize advanced financial systems to conduct deep-dive analyses and generate companies.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)7+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experienceExperience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solvingExperience communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)Preferred QualificationsMBA, or CPA7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experienceExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location
