AtRiseTech, we're building the next generation ofsemiconductor manufacturing tools, powered by ourproprietary deposition technology.Our mission: unlock new architectures, devices, and manufacturing possibilities for the semiconductor industry through precision engineering, advanced process control, and smart materials.The RoleWe're looking for ahands-on Process Development Engineerto join our growing technical team and drive experimental process development around our proprietary deposition systems.You'll design experiments, prototype, optimize, and help scale a technology that sits at the intersection ofmicrofabrication, electrochemistry, material science and additive manufacturing.What You'll DoDesign, execute, and analyzeDoE-based experimentsto optimize microfabrication parameters.Work closely with our Head of Production and R&D team to translate concepts into manufacturable processes.Supervise and mentor lab technicians and interns in daily operations.Operate and coordinate maintenance of3D printers, laser micromachining systems, and microfluidic setupsin our in-house cleanroom facilityDevelopSOPsand ensure lab safety and best practices.Troubleshoot process challenges and propose creative, data-driven solutions.Collaborate across mechanical, electronics, and process control teams for system integration.What We're Looking ForMSc or PhD inMechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.5+ years of experience inR&D, process development, or prototyping(ideally in MEMS, microfabrication, or precision manufacturing).Experience with3D printing, laser machining, or microfluidics.Strong experimental and analytical mindset.Proficiency withCAD and data analysis tools(SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, etc.).Independent, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced lab environment.Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).Why Join UsYou'll get a chance tobuild a new semiconductor technology platform from the ground up.At RiseTech, you'll work hands-on with complex systems, see your ideas take physical form, and grow into akey technical leaderas we scale.If you love solving hard problems, working across disciplines, and pushing the limits of what's possible in advanced manufacturing — we'd love to hear from you.Apply or reach out to us directly to learn more.
