Responsibilities / TasksWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our team.The role involves managing general accounting operations and supporting financial compliance and reporting activities.You will collaborate with internal departments and external providers to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely financial processes.How you'll make an impactManage general accounting activities: journal entries, bookkeeping, and fixed assetsSupport month-end closing: account reconciliations and accrualsSupervise accounting processes handled by external providers (vendor master data, invoices, travel expenses, collections, payments, bank reconciliation)Ensure compliance with Italian tax regulations (VAT, withholding taxes)Assist in preparing tax returns: periodic VAT settlements, LIPE filings, annual VAT returnReconcile vendor aging and resolve discrepanciesContact debtors and send payment reminders (phone, email, PEC)Monitor collections and reconcile ledger accountsPrepare reports on outstanding balances and overdue paymentsManage payment terms and credit checks for clients and ordersKey AccountabilitiesEnsure compliance with corporate policies and proceduresImprove existing processes and support best practices in finance operationsProvide accurate and timely reports to support decision-makingAct as a finance partner across corporate departmentsYour Profile / QualificationsHigh school diploma in accounting and / or bachelor's degree in economicsProven experience in accounting roles, preferably in multinational or industrial settingsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)English proficiencyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProactive and solution-oriented mindsetBonus points if you have...Experience with SAP systemsHands-on involvement in SAP deployment or roll-out initiativesGEA is proudly certified as a Top Employer confirming our commitment to employee well-being, development and empowerment.Top Employers ****: GEA reinforces position as one of Europe's leading employers.Did we spark your interest?Then please click apply above to access our guided application process.Required Experience : ICKey Skills: Cobol, Financial Services, Financial Concepts, Accounting, Banking, Cloud Computing, Securities Law, Middleware, Financial Analysis, CPT Coding, Epic, Financial ManagementEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1#J-*****-Ljbffr
