????Teoresi S.p.A.- 35+ years of history, 8 companies across Italy, the United States, Germany, and Switzerland, ****+ professionals, 4 acquisitions in a single year, 1 partner, and one comprehensive solution.????LOCATION: ON-SITE IN MICHIGAN, USAWe are looking for a:Model-Based Design / Application Software Engineerto join our automotive engineering team in Michigan.The role focuses on developing, integrating, and validating control algorithms for automotive systems using model-based design methodologies.You will collaborate closely with system, controls, and software engineers to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions for the next generation of vehicles.Main Responsibilities:Design and developcontrol algorithms and application softwareusingMATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.Generate, test, and integrateautocoded software (C/C++)for embedded controllers.Conductmodel-in-the-loop (MIL),software-in-the-loop (SIL), andhardware-in-the-loop (HIL)simulations.Performdebugging, validation, and calibrationactivities to ensure functionality, robustness, and compliance with requirements.Collaborate withsystems, calibration, and testing teamsto align software functionality with vehicle performance goals.Supportcode reviews, documentation, and adherence toASPICEandfunctional safety (ISO *****)processes.Required Skills & Tools:Proficiency inMATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, andembedded software development.Strong understanding ofcontrol theory,vehicle dynamics, orpowertrain systems(ICE, HEV, BEV).Experience withauto-code generationandembedded C/C++development.Familiarity withHIL testing,CAN/LIN communication, anddiagnostic protocols (UDS, DTCs).Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in afast-paced, cross-functional environment.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Degree inElectrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering(or equivalent).Experience inmodel-based developmentfor automotive applications.Knowledge offunctional safety,ASPICE, orISO *****processes.Experience withETAS INCA, dSPACE, Vector tools, orCANalyzer.We also inform you that, by sending your application, all your data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy, which you can view at the following link /
