Identis is a global leader in secure ID issuance and financial card personalization solutions.With innovative hardware, software, and services, we provide high-quality and scalable solutions to banks, government agencies, and enterprises worldwide.The RoleWe are looking for a Technical Buyer to manage the procurement of mechanical components, outsourced machining processes, and technical materials for precision mechanics.The role is responsible for analyzing technical specifications, requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices and commercial terms.The Technical Buyer will select, qualify, and manage national and international suppliers, monitor purchase orders, delivery lead times, and supplier performance, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve technical or supply-related issues.The position also contributes to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities within the Operations function.The candidate, reporting to the Operations Department, will be responsible for managing the procurement of components and subcontracted processes for precision mechanics, working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality departments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the purchasing of mechanical components, external machining processes, and technical materialsAnalyze product technical specificationsSelect, qualify, and manage suppliers (national and international)Request and evaluate quotations; negotiate prices and commercial termsMonitor purchase orders, delivery lead times, and supplier performanceCollaborate with Production and Quality to resolve technical or supply-related issuesContribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activitiesRequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar)3–5 years of experience as a Technical Buyer, preferably in the precision mechanics sectorExcellent knowledge of EnglishFamiliarity with ERP / MRP systemsPersonal SkillsStrong negotiation skillsHigh level of accuracy with an analytical mindsetAbility to work autonomously with a results-oriented and hands-on approach#J-*****-Ljbffr
