Who are WebBedsWebBeds is the fastest growing and most significant accommodation supplier to the travel industry.We are a global company offering ground services (hotels transfers tours activities) to travel professionals.Our products help our partners and customers to create amazing Travel experiences.Our Products range from a Retail Online platform Integration Connectivity hub and distribution APIs to name but a few and our systems are 100% cloud hosted processing up to 5.0bn search requests daily.We deliver amazing outcomes using leading edge technology through innovative and creative thinking.WebBeds is a subsidiary of Web Travel Group (ASX : WEB) an ASX 200 listed company operating a global digital travel business.What makes us stand outWe are a wholesale global travel organizationWe have **** people speaking 50 languages in 120 cites across 50 countriesWe partner with over properties in more than ***** destinationsWe work with more than ***** travel companies in 139 source marketsWe have an amazing Technology team focused on delivering valuable outcomes using innovative tech and creative & lateral thinkingIn this role you will :Team Leadership and ManagementLead and manage a team of Market Managers and Market Executives to achieve individual and team KPIs.Provide coaching guidance and development opportunities to ensure high performance and professional growth.Foster a collaborative motivated and goal-driven team environment.Strategic Planning and ExecutionDevelop and implement contracting strategies for the assigned region in alignment with company objectives.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.Ensure the portfolio of properties meets the demands of the companys sales channels including the right mix of hotels competitive pricing and optimal availability.Performance MonitoringRegularly review team and individual performance metrics providing feedback and support to achieve targets.Identify and address challenges including market-specific issues and develop actionable solutions.Stakeholder EngagementEstablish and maintain relationships with key hotel partners in the region.Support Market Managers in high-level negotiations and issue resolution when required.Act as a point of escalation for complex situations with hotel partners or internal stakeholders.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with sales marketing and other departments to ensure alignment between supply and demand.Collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues related to system integrations and product delivery.Partner with the Commercial Strategy team to identify new opportunities and improve profitability.Reporting and AnalyticsUtilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions about regional performance and strategy.Prepare and deliver detailed reports on regional performance team progress and market conditions to senior leadership.C ompetenciesLeadership Skills : Proven ability to manage motivate and develop teams to achieve high performance.Analytical Thinking : Strong capability to interpret data and trends to make strategic decisions.Negotiation Skills : Expertise in securing favorable terms and building long-term partnerships.Problem-Solving : Resourceful and proactive in addressing challenges and implementing effective solutions.Communication : Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Collaboration : Strong cross-functional skills to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.Significant experience in hotel account management sales or similar roles within the travel or hospitality industry.Proven experience in managing and developing teams of varying capacities and performance.Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed challenging performance targets.Strong knowledge of the assigned regions hospitality market dynamics.Experience working with distribution platforms APIs and cloud-based systems is advantageous.Business-level fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.Qualifications & knowledgeMinimum 5 years hotel account management.Minimum 3 years team management experienceStrong negotiation skills; pro-active team leaderAccurate with attention to detail Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English.Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.Able to develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with hoteliers and colleagues.A working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and OutlookEmployment Type : Full TimeExperience : yearsVacancy : 1#J-*****-Ljbffr
