Test & Software Engineer / On-Site (Italy & US Recruitment)WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?Jetson is a category-defining eVTOL company with a mission to change the way we travel.Our vehicles democratize flight and move ground-based transportation up into the air.Jetson is enabling new and exciting ways of travelling and we are committed to making this a reality.Jetson is looking for highly self-motivated and proactive individuals with a proven record of extraordinary achievements.Join our hard-working, creative and talented team to realize the exciting dream of Advanced Air Mobility at our facilities inArezzo, ItalyandSan Luis Obispo, California (USA).GENERAL NEEDS OF THE COMPANY:Responsibilities:Analyze performance of Jetson aircraft electronics and flight computer.Analyze vehicle flight logs and compile them for the engineering team.Design, optimize, validate flight computer and electronics firmware and software.Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure performance and safety requirements are met.Troubleshoot flight computer and electronic integration issues and implement corrective actions.Set up reliable and redundant RC systems including their integration with onboard electronics and robust fail-safe operation.Provide engineering support for the assembly and testing motors, batteries, and related electronic components.Maintain detailed documentation, work instructions, flight performance reports.Preferred Skills and Experience:Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.5+ years of work and development of UAV vehicles.Proven experience with UAV flight computers, UAV electronic components, sensors and their integration.UAV flight computers firmware and software development.Proficiency with Python, C#, Java, or other high-level languages.Experience with electronics, electrical wiring, and soldering.Experience with electric propulsion, batteries, brushless motors, motor controllers.10+ years of building RC aircraft, helicopters, drones, and aviation interests.Electronics assembly and prototype development experience.Experience setting up and running tests and experiments.Ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, schematics, assembly procedures and work instructions.Soft Skills:"Can-do, will-do" attitude with a proactive approach and willingness to take action;Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment;Applies time management, effective planning, prioritizing, and organizing skills to maximize productivity;Brings a positive attitude and energy to the workplace;Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Additional Requirements:Must have a valid driving license;Must willing to work onsite.Employment type: Full-timeJetson is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, gender, age, disability, or any other protected status.**Candidates are kindly requested to submit their CV in English**#J-*****-Ljbffr
