wholesale partners, 45 mono-brand shops and a direct e-commerce channel.Dainese is looking for a BI Manager to support our ICT Department.Roles & responsibilities:Reporting directly to the CIO, the Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of BI systems and data integration platforms.This includes the development of advanced reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power BI, the orchestration of data flows via SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Service Bus, and the integration of data from roadmapaligned with organizational goals.-Establishdata governance policies , including data quality, security, and compliance.-Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize use cases and ensure business alignment.Architecture & Platform Oversight:-Lead thedesign of the Microsoft Fabric architecture , including:-OneLake setup and data lakehouse strategy.-Integration with existing systems (ERP, CRM, PLM, etc.).-Ensure optimal use of Fabric components:Power BI,Data Factory, Synapse and Data Activator, etc.Data Integration & Modeling:-Overseedata ingestion pipelinesfrom various sources (SQL, APIs, cloud apps).-Guide the creation ofsemantic modelsanddata martsusing Fabric's Lakehouse and Warehouse capabilities.-Ensurereusability and scalabilityof data models across departments.Team Leadership & Enablement:-Manage BI developers, data engineers, and analysts.-Promoteself-service BIthrough training and governance of Power BI usage.-Foster adata-driven cultureacross the organization.Performance & Optimization:-Monitorsystem performance , query optimization, and cost management.-ImplementFabric capacity planningand workspace management.-Ensuredata refresh reliabilityand dashboard responsiveness.Security & Compliance:-Definerole-based access controlsand workspace permissions.-Ensure compliance withGDPR, ISO, or industry-specific regulations .-Collaborate with IT and security teams to manage data protection.Reporting & Insights Delivery:-Oversee the development ofdashboards, KPIs, and reportsfor various business units.-Ensuredata accuracy and consistencyacross reports.-Driveadvanced analyticsinitiatives (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection).Vendor & Stakeholder Management:-Coordinate withMicrosoft and system integratorsfor support and best practices.-Communicate progress and value toexecutive stakeholders .-Managebudget and licensingrelated to Fabric and Power BI.Requirements:Technical Competencies:-Microsoft Fabric Expertise-Deep understanding of Fabric components:OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Data Activator .-Experience withdataflows, pipelines, semantic models , andDirect Lake mode .Data Architecture & Modeling:-Proficiency indimensional modeling ,star/snowflake schemas , anddata lakehouse design .-Strong grasp ofdata integration ,ETL/ELT processes , anddata lineage .Power BI Mastery:-Advanced skills inDAX ,Power Query , andreport/dashboard design .-Experience withPower BI governance ,deployment pipelines , andperformance tuning .Cloud & Security Knowledge:-Familiarity withAzure services ,Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , androle-based access control (RBAC) .-Understanding ofdata privacy ,compliance frameworks , andsecurity best practices .Analytical & Strategic Competencies:-Business Acumen:Ability to translate business needs intodata solutionsandBI use cases .Understanding ofKPIs ,financial metrics , andoperational drivers .-Data Governance & Quality:Experience in setting updata stewardship ,metadata management , andquality assuranceprocesses.-Project & Change Management:Skilled inagile methodologies ,project planning , andstakeholder communication .Ability to managephased
