Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for two (#2 )Expediting Officer s (C1 English mandatory)The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods & documentation in alignment with project schedules & technical requirementsKey responsibilitiesMonitor the progress of deliverables & manufacturing activities, including those of subcontractors , identifying potential delays or issues affecting purchase order (PO ) timelinesProactively engage with suppliers to resolve critical issues & ensure adherence to delivery schedulesCollaborate with suppliers to propose & implement solutions when challenges arise that may impact deliveryCoordinate with the project team to define corrective actions aimed at mitigating risks to delivery datesInterface with the Project Engineer to resolve outstanding technical matters that may hinder supplier performanceEstablish revised schedules & delivery dates in cases of non -compliance or delaysImplement on -site expediting activities at supplier or subcontractor facilities when necessary to recover schedule slippagesMaintain & regularly update the Material Status Report for assigned scopesRequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in procurement expediting within industrial or engineering sectorsFull professional proficiency in English – both written & spokenStrong understanding of supply chain processes & project-based procurementAbility to monitor & manage supplier performance , including subcontractorsProblem -solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying & resolving delivery issuesField of the project: engineering , construction , energy & infrastructure togetherLocation: on -site in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan)Freelancers are highly welcomed tooCandidates of any gender identity , after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV in PDF format, quoting the reference number (Ref. ).
