Founded in ****, John Crane is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and engineering of mission critical flow control solutions for increased efficiency, emission reductions and energy transformation.Our products include mechanical seals and systems, couplings, bearings, filtration systems and predictive digital monitoring technologies.John Crane customer service is accessed through a global network of more than 200 global sites in over 50 countries employing more than 6,000 employees worldwide.We partner with our customers and help them meet the latest environmental standards and keep their operations safe and controlled.John Crane is part of Smiths Group , For over 170 years, Smiths has been improving our world through smarter engineering.Our technology benefits millions of people every day – making travel safer, supporting sustainable energy transition, efficiently heating, cooling our homes, and helping our world stay connected.This role is working as a Diagnostics Engineer (Condition Monitoring), reviewing and reporting on our clients data, and where required, providing corrective actions/ recommendations.This would involve remote support to the UK contracts, as well as in country support to contracts in Italy.Key activitiesTechnical analysis and reporting of machinery data (including but not limited to vibration data)Peer reviewing technical reports and documentsAble to work effectively as part of a team to deliver our CM contract requirements to a high standardPossibility of occasional site visits within the Italy region to perform routine and ad-hoc additional testing, including offshore.Able to work independently and confidentlyCustomer engagement (with office-based support team and site personnel)Customer Consultation (with office-based support team and site personnel)Italian national, but being fluent in English is essential for this roleKey MetricsEfficiency of data analysis and reportingAccuracy of analysis & recommendationsWillingness to learn and develop in the roleShared SLI, quality, profitability metricsKey skills and experiencesEngineering degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years' experience in vibration analysis for condition monitoring of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).Vibration Analysis ISO ******* Category 2Good level of communication and reportingLubrication Analysis ISO ******* Category 2, or equivalentVibration Analysis ISO ******* Category 3Experience with client CMMS systems, like SAP and MaximoUse of various hardware/software, preferably Emerson ****/AMSGood knowledge of Microsoft officeQualificationsTo conduct analysis of routine condition monitoring data, including vibration and other techniques.To report Condition Monitoring analysis results and associated corrective actions/recommendationsTo conduct specialist vibration analysis and equipment troubleshooting (e.g. Balancing, Orbit Analysis, etc).Mentoring of clients in basic Condition Monitoring techniques.To continuously improve the effectiveness of condition monitoring programmes, through defined review process in conjunction with the contract service delivery manager..Using a defined process, demonstrate the benefit of carrying out recommendations.Work within the requirements of the John Crane Integrated Management System (IMS).#J-*****-Ljbffr
