PRIMARY FUNCTIONSThe candidate will be placed within the engineering department, in the exteriors trim group, as a part of the development team for exterior trims subsystems.The ideal candidate will have experience in exteriors trims development, with competence both in plastic and metallic design, and will be dynamic, willing to learn and collaborate with different departments to develop with efficiency and accuracy of the company's products.Essential responsibilities:Technical / technological knowledge of development and manufacturing of mechanical systems, sheet metal stamping / sheeting and plastic components.Knowledge of the principles of problem solving and design to cost.Ability to analyze and elaborate technical proposals on issues of quality improvement and cost reduction.Systemic vehicular vision skillsApplication of new plastics techniques and technologies on new productsCollaborating with various departments to identify data needs and develop appropriate solutions.Management of developments together with Co-Design companies and partnersDefinition and supervision of external work packages with engineering providersDocumentation of acquired knowledge in design standardsAll documentation and written correspondence in EnglishRequirements:Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Mechatronics or similar studies.Knowledge of data management tools and databases (e.g. SQL, Excel, Access).Good communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and problem solving skills.Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.Model Based System EngineeringKnowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.Digital skills:MS Office 365, Outlook and TeamsPLM TeamcenterCatia V5 / V6
