Manufacturing Engineer (9 Month Contract)Full-timeDepartment: Operations EMEAThis is a critical position within the production team working on dynamic challenges and varied projects where you will have a tangible effect on the efficiency of Rotork's production.It is a 9 month contract position, based at our Porcari, Lucca site.Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this role is to ensure the continuous improvements of production tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within the Bath factory.In the Manufacturing Engineer role you will design, implement and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout.You will partake in audits, technical support and problem investigations/resolutions with a view to suggest new processes and equipment where applicable and appropriate.This role would suit a proactive candidate who is motivated in problem solving and driving solutions forwards.You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.Experience Requirements:Experience using CAD softwareAwareness of techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Continuous ImprovementWorked within an engineering production environment with electromechanical productsThe Successful Candidate:Is approachable and able to communicate effectivelyHappy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised#J-*****-Ljbffr
