Senior Social Media Marketing LeadTheSoul Group is one of the world's most prolific digital media companies and a leading creator business platform.Our original video, animation, and editorial content are available in 21 languages across 50 platforms and 21 sites, going viral globally and generating 25 billion monthly views on social media, with over 2 billion followers .As a media powerhouse, we provide creators and brands with a wide range of services, leveraging our expertise in content distribution, localization, and social media management.We're the authors of global phenomena like 5-Minute Crafts and BrightSide and continue to expand in the creator economy , as seen in our acquisitions of Mediacube and Underscore Talent .We're a dynamic, remote-first global team—fostering award-winning creativity, a no-red-tape approach, and great vibesWe are looking for a Senior Social Media Marketing Lead to drive platform growth, content performance, and distribution strategies across client projects.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics.You'll lead a team of SMM strategists, guide platform-specific tactics, and translate data into actions that drive measurable results.Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of social media platforms, audience behavior, and algorithm dynamics — paired with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver against campaign goals.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of integrated social media strategies in collaboration with brand and creative leads;Conduct platform audits, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities;Build systems for interpreting performance data and presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders;Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, new features, and best practices across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms;Guide the development of editorial calendars, captions, and platform-optimized creative briefs;Recommend posting cadences, test-and-learn experiments, and performance optimizations;Present data-driven recommendations and insights clearly and convincingly to stakeholders;Research and recommend shoppable content formats, platform-specific commerce features, and tagging best practices to support e-commerce goals;Propose content strategies and publishing calendars aligned with key conversion moments (e.g. gifting, seasonal, behind-the-scenes activations);Mentor a team of SMM strategists, copywriters, and analysts; oversee task prioritization and execution quality;Ensure efficient workflows and collaboration using project management and reporting tools (e.g. Asana, native platform tools);Collaborate closely with Creative Producers and Brand Marketing to align content with distribution and engagement goals;Partner with Business Partnerships to identify upsell opportunities based on content or platform trendsRequirements5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content marketing, or social media growth roles (agency experience preferred, client experience a must);2+ years of experience managing and mentoring team members across SMM functions;Solid experience in social media organic growth;Strong knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, their features and metrics;Deep understanding of content performance drivers, platform algorithms and best practices, audience behavior and growth techniques;Strong ability to turn analytics into actionable, business-relevant insights;Solid working knowledge of native and third-party social media tools (e.g. Meta Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok analytics, Frame);Strong writing and editing skills for digital storytelling and brand-aligned messaging;Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills;Fluent in English;
