Company OverviewSpace Industriesis an innovative and fast-growing company specializing in the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge solutions for micro, small, and nano satellites.With a passion for technological advancement and a vision to redefine the future of space exploration, we are committed to providing advanced satellite systems that will have a global impact.As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamicHead of Space Production Engineering.Position OverviewTheHead of Space Production Engineeringwill lead the company's entire technical function, with direct responsibility for design, systems engineering, subsystems, AIT, configuration, test support activities, and theindustrialization process.The role ensures the seamless transition from design to serial production, driving manufacturability, production readiness, process standardization, cost optimization, supply chain integration, and continuous improvement across all space systems programs.This role is both strategic and operational, ensuring that satellites are designed to be manufacturable, integrable, and testable, while meeting cost, schedule, and mission requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyDefine and implement the company's technical strategy in alignment with the industrial plan.Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams including:Systems EngineeringMechanical & Structural EngineeringElectrical & Avionics EngineeringThermal EngineeringAIT EngineeringConfiguration & DocumentationFoster a culture focused onquality, reliability, and continuous improvement.Engineering GovernanceOversee the full satellite lifecycle:Requirements definition and managementSystem architectureDesign and developmentVerification and validationAssembly, Integration & TestingEnsure compliance with ECSS standards (or equivalent).Chair and oversee major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR).Industrialization & AIT FocusEnsure projects follow:Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Design for Assembly (DFA)Design for Test (DFT)Work closely with Production to optimize workflows, tooling, and AIT processes.Supervise functional and environmental test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, shock, EMC) and qualification activities.Program & Stakeholder ManagementSupport Business Development during proposal and bidding phases.Interface with institutional and commercial customers on technical matters.Coordinate with Supply Chain for selection and qualification of critical suppliers.Requirements• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.• Minimum***** yearsof experience in the space industry.• Direct experience with satellite programs in the ****** kg class.• Strong background in:Systems EngineeringAITEnvironmental test campaigns• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.• Deep knowledge of ECSS standards.• Fluent in English.Possession of a driving license (Category B).Preferred QualificationsExperience in serial or semi-serial satellite production environments.Background in satellite platform industrialization.Experience in New Space or fast-paced commercial programs.Familiarity with lean methodologies applied to space manufacturing.Key CompetenciesAuthoritative yet collaborative technical leadershipStrong results orientationDecision-making capability in high-complexity environmentsSystem-level vision with attention to detailEffective technical risk managementWhat We Offer40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.A dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company\'s future strategies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
