OverviewCompany Description: Founded in Hanover, Germany, in ****, Continental develops cutting-edge technologies and services for the sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.Merlett Tecnoplastic SpA is a company of Continental, Group Sector ContiTech Industrial Solutions EMEA and it is located in Italy.It has been acquired by Continental in **** and the core business is the production of thermoplastic hoses and tubes.Job DescriptionThe mission of the position is to perform variety of financial statements (including tax), preparation of the annual and quarterly company reports, due diligences and continuous reporting to the supervisory board.The position is moreover responsible for strategizing and planning for financial goals by working daily to achieve and maintain the financial health of the organization.The incumbent is responsible to create forecasting models assessing risks investments and ensuring all accounting activities complying with the regulations.Financial Statementprepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of controlling cost centresmaintain spreadsheets of all the financial activities of the plant and compile them into the report at the end of the monthsupervise inflows and outflows of cash in the plantkeep all the documentation that supports the figures contained in the report, such as invoices and receipts, for auditing purposesdevelop the processes, reports and guidelines needed to build and maintain the financial health of the workplace, and coordinating finance department staffingFinance & Controllingensure and apply Continental finance and accounting guidelines and ensure implementation and conformity with all Continental controlling systems, tools, standards and processes with high data quality and transparencyensure production controlling according to standards (production order controlling, production parameters like scrap and utilization, shift model review, support of standard costs calculation, support of plant variation analysis, support of cost center controlling all areas)ensure investment controlling (valid for local investments e.g. infrastructure) according to standards (preparation of financial analysis supporting investment and eCRs, management of plant invest budget)ensure personnel controlling according to standards (evaluation of staffing utilization, shift model analysis (variations) as input for production planning, fix HC planning and allocation, ePRs)ensure logistics controlling if needed (according to plant size) according to standards (inventory analysis and reporting - WOC, special freights, ICO business like transfer price calculation, equalization)ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulationsrecommend cost-reduction solutionsReportingsupport monthly closing and report monthly according to standardsprepare standard reports to plant and business managementprepare and review monthly results (e.g. P&L)prepare budget and forecasts based on production volumesanalyze variations/operational and non-operational effectsQualificationsuniversity degree, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, controlling or related discipline, 5+ years of experience, tax competence preferablyAdditional Information3 or more years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.Knowledge of italian and English language MANDATORYReady to drive with Continental?Take the first step and fill in the online application.#J-*****-Ljbffr
