Join a global power technology leader delivering sustainable, high-voltage transmission projects that shape the future of Italy's energy network.We're looking for aProject Lead Engineerto join our client'sHVDC Engineering team in Milan, taking ownership of project execution, stakeholder communication, and multidisciplinary coordination - ensuring every system runs safely, efficiently, and to world-class standards.The RoleAsProject Lead Engineer, you'll be the central technical authority for assigned HVDC or power system projects, coordinating engineering activities from concept to commissioning. You'll lead project teams, interface with clients and global engineering centers, and ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards.What You'll DoAct as the primary technical contact for customers on all project-related matters.Lead engineering activities across multiple disciplines to ensure timely, compliant delivery.Oversee system design, specifications, and technical documentation.Coordinate with global engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.Support testing, installation, and commissioning activities.Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards.Contribute to developing new technical solutions and innovations within HVDC projects.Who You AreBachelor's or Master's degree inElectrical Engineeringor a related field.5+ years of experiencein project or lead engineering withinHVDC, power systems, or high-voltage transmission.Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering projects.Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.Fluent inItalian and English(written and spoken).Strong problem-solving and leadership skills with a proactive approach.What You'll GetCompetitive salary package.Smart working and flexible hours.Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, pension fund, and welfare plan.Meal allowance or canteen access.Opportunities for international collaboration and professional growth.About SpertonSperton is a global recruitment and consulting firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
