Piping Engineer

We are looking for aPiping Engineerwho will join ourConstruction Dept.at our headquarters inParma.The Resource will be responsible for managing the discipline activity and project team, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly implemented, and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved budget.Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge and comment contract contents and related technical discipline annexes; in case of discrepancies, mistakes or deficiencies, develop a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted to the Discipline Lead Engineer and subsequently to PEM;Prepare technical specifications including applicable standards, if not included in contract technical documentation;Management of discipline man-hours, promptly reporting any disruptions and/or any additional requirements to PEM;Attendance to Project Meetings (kick off and project review meeting) as well as meeting with Client, if requested by PEM;Produce the Discipline project deliverables list, including checking requirements by the other discipline;Act as checker and/or approver for all Discipline deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, reports, etc.);Verify the engineering documents of Subcontractor and Vendor;Establish and maintain effective interface with the other Project Disciplines Teams, Project Management, Client Representative;Ensure adequate flow of design information between team members;Examine the contractual Vendor List with Procurement Department;Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities;Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the Project Controls Department;Ensure that working procedures are followed and that compliance with relevant Quality Systems is achieved;Ensure deliverables quality in term of technical content, compliance with design criteria, international standards and contractual requirements;Monitor of design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase (quantities and equipment dimensions);Provide Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines;Provide Client follow-up technical support, if required by PEM;Develop the 3D Model specific area and support to 3D Model Coordinator (Smart Plant Specialist) according to 3D Model Procedure;Provide technical support during bidding phase and man-hours estimation.Requirements:Piping Engineer with a minimum stay of 3-4 years in the role being able to preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project.Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Piping Engineering, 3D Model, stress Analysis, Layout and accurate competences of techniques and tools.Proficiency in understanding and working with testing circuits and P&ID.Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or similar, proficiency in Excel or comparable spreadsheet software and familiarity with 3D model navigation tools like Navisworks or equivalent.Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills,leadershipqualities and efficient team management skills, adaptability and stress tolerance.Fluent in English.Place of work:Parma (Pr)This position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. ******** and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of **** on equal treatment.We are committed to promoting an inclusive work environment and respecting gender diversity.Interested parties are invited to consult the privacy notice in accordance with EU Regulation ******** (GDPR), available at the following address:
