Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, ICN - DCEO AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.Key Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain 24 / 7 operations coverage with flexible scheduling, including rotating shiftsServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersOperate electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Generators, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans.Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds and log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systemsMaintain high system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficientlyServe as escalation point and provide technical troubleshooting for all environmental and facility issuesParticipate in Data Center power and cooling eventsHandle and lift equipment manually when required (weight limits follow regulations)Follow and maintain the highest safety standards while encouraging a world-class safety cultureParticipate in emergency drills and support emergency facility event response according to established protocolsManage procurement for DCEO related expenditureResponsible for asset and inventory managementPerform replacement of internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devicesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) or equivalent experienceAbility to work 24 / 7 rotating shifts and lift rack equipment up to 20kg and work in cramped spaces or elevated locations using portable ladders while adhering to health & safety guidelinesFluent in Korean with basic English proficiencyPreferred QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in data center or similar industryKnowledge of mechanical (HVAC, Controls) and electrical systemsProfessional certifications in electrical, mechanical, or fire protection systemsValid work authorization in Korea with no restrictions for international travelOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit https : / / amazon.jobs / content / en / how-we-hire / accommodations for more information.If the country / region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Data Center Engineering Operations Technician ICN DCEO • Milano, Lombardia, IT#J-*****-Ljbffr
