Fast Forward Foundation ETS ( is seeking a Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Intern to join its young and agile team based in Milan.This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Foundation's development and help strengthen its role in advancing integrated welfare systems across Europe.About the FoundationFounded in **** by BFF Banking Group, the Fast Forward Foundation (FFF) initially supported projects in healthcare and culture, reflecting a commitment to research, education, and social impact.In recent years, the Foundation has refocused its mission on integrated welfare - connecting healthcare, social protection, and financial inclusion, with digital innovation as a key enabler.This evolution responds to the increasing complexity of European welfare systems and the need for coordinated, people-centered approaches.FFF has a small team of four full-time staff - one coordinator, two project managers, and one communications & operations specialist – supported by a Board of Directors and a network of scientific advisors.Interns can take on real responsibilities and influence FFF's strategic development, building alliances with national and international organizations (European Commission and OECD).About the internshipThis internship is ideal for a motivated and curious individual interested in how communication and stakeholder engagement can contribute to the transformation of welfare systems in Europe.The role is adaptable and will be tailored to the candidate's skills, interests, and experience.Interns are encouraged to propose ideas on how they can best strengthen FFF's work.This is an extracurricular internship ("tirocinio extracurriculare") and is not part of a university curriculum.Start date: January **** (flexible)Duration: 6 months, full-time, with flexible 3/5 remote work options and the possibility of renewal.Key responsibilities:Support FFF's communications across digital channels, including the website and Linked InContribute to content planning and creation of visual and written materials (e.g., infographics, presentations, short reports)Monitor EU-level policy developments, events, and stakeholder initiatives relevant to welfare, inclusion, and digital innovationConduct research and synthesize information to support mapping and analysis of welfare innovationsAssist in organizing meetings, preparing background notes, and internal coordination Essential qualifications and skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, media studies, journalism, marketing, public policy, political science, social sciences, European studies, international relations, or a related fieldsFluency in Italian and English (minimum C2; ideally C1).Familiarity with social platforms (especially Linked In) and basic digital tools (e.g. Canva, Power Point, Word Press)Strong writing, synthesis, and analytical skillsCuriosity for public policy, social innovation, and European welfare systemsProactive attitude, ability to work independently, and interest in contributing ideas to a developing organizationStrong teamwork and communication skills.Desirable skillsPrior experience or strong interest in stakeholder engagement, advocacy, or policy monitoring.Experience in philanthropy, foundations, or European/international organizationsKnowledge of EU institutions or familiarity with European policy debates on welfare, inclusion, or digital transformation What we offerA paid, full-time 6-month internship (with flexible 3/5 remote-work options).– € 800 per monthOpportunity to strengthen FFF's communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and contribute to its positioning in the European welfare landscapeMentorship and guidance from a small, young, and agile team, combined with expectations for autonomy and proactive contributionHands-on experience in a philanthropic organization helping shape integrated welfare systems in Europe How to applyPlease email with the subject line "Application – Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Intern", including your CV and a brief cover letter (max 1 page) in English, outlining your relevant skills and how you could contribute to FFF's work.Interviews will be conducted in English.Application deadline: 15 December ****Applications received through "Easy Apply" will not be considered
