The objective is to ensure Colt remains a leader not only from a cost perspective but also in delivering a superior customer experience.What You Will DoProvide required data analysis to support Network Development and Optimisation objectives for the widerteamIdentify and correct data anomalies within source system data setsReporting/Analysis - Develop and publish reporting and analytics as a result of tested hypotheses and provideuser-friendly outputs.Assist with the departmental automation roadmap; identifying, simplifying and automating repeatable taskswithin the Network Development and Optimisation departmentPredictive analytics - Test business hypotheses across the department to construct predictive models..Data Model Management - Set up experimental designs to answer business questions and opportunities.Continuously measure model effectiveness and performanceData Quality - Execute different data analytics to ensure the completeness, quality, and consistency of dataused for analytics across the department.Passion for Data and analytics combined with the ability to communicate insights to the business and seniormanagementIntellectually curious, you'll also demonstrate the ability to present complex ideas to technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels including senior executivesStrong Excel skills (Lookups, power Pivots)Data visualisation skills specifically Qlik / PowerBIHigh attention to detailCollaboration skills.Must HavesWhat we're looking forAffinity for Telco technology, including optical and packet technologyDjango Rest Framework experienceExperience with Oracle DBStrong understanding of relational database design and modelingProven ability to work independently or in a small teamExperience participating in code reviews and technical discussionsMight haveStrong proficiency in Django and Python (5+ years)Experience building and consuming REST APIsStrong understanding of SQL database design, VBAExperience with version control (Git)Ability to write clean, maintainable codeUnderstanding of software development principlesData modelling / ML / AI experienceEducationBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, or a relevant fieldWhat We Offer YouLooking to make a mark?At Colt, you'll make a difference.
