Company OverviewSPACE INDUSTRIESis adynamic and rapidly growing companyoperating in theaerospace sector, with a strong commitment toinnovation, reliability, and mission excellence.The company supportscomplex space programsand providesend-to-end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success.Position OverviewSpace Industries S.p.A.is looking for an experiencedIT System Administratorto join its IT team.The role focuses on the administration, security hardening, and resilience of on-premise, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructures, within ahigh-security and compliance-driven environment(ISO *****, GDPR, NIS2).The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuringsystem security, operational continuity, and audit readiness, working closely with internal stakeholders and security functions.Key ResponsibilitiesSecure configuration, hardening, and maintenance ofWindows, Linux, virtualizationplatforms, and cloud environments, in line with industry security standardsPatch management and vulnerability remediation, including assessments, mitigation actions, and documentation of security controlsIdentity and Access Management (IAM)with least-privilege principles, RBAC, SSO, MFA,and Azure Active Directory federationSecurity monitoring and incident response support, integrating SIEM, EDR/XDR, centralized logging, and forensic-ready audit trailsCompliance and data protectionactivities aligned with GDPR, ISO *****, and NIS2, including audit support and security documentationBackup, disaster recovery, and resilience management, validating RTO/RPO and supporting Infrastructure as Code practicesContinuous security improvement, threat monitoring, proactive risk reduction, and participation in security awareness initiativesRequired Skills & Experience5–6 years of experience as a System Administrator / IT Infrastructure EngineerStrong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with virtualized and cloud environmentsSolid background in IT security, system hardening, and complianceHands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, IAM, SSO, and MFAFamiliarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, logging, and audit processesFluent knowledge of the English language, both written and spokenDriving license and own vehicleSoft SkillsHigh level of autonomy in the roleStrong collaboration and proactivityExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work in structured, security-focused environmentsNice to HaveRelevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Linux, Security)Experience in regulated or industrial sectorsBackground in aerospace or high-tech environmentsWhat We Offer40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.A dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
