Marine Technical Advisor – Relocation to Saudi Arabia Aramco occupies a special position in the global energy industry.We are one of the world's largest producers of hydrocarbon energy and chemicals, with among the lowest upstream carbon intensities of any major producer.With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco's value to society.Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations' spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's vast hydrocarbon resources.This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.OverviewWe are seeking a Marine Technical Advisor to join Facilities Engineering Group which is part of the Marine Projects & Engineering Division in Marine.Marine Projects & Engineering Division is responsible for providing basic/elementary level of technical expertise and support in resolving uncomplicated technical issues related to marine operation.Technical Services include Marine Engineering, application of new technologies, Naval Architecture, new vessel building projects, Port Engineering, vessels repair and maintenance.Your primary role is to provide a technical expertise and support in resolving uncomplicated technical issues related to marine operation.Technical Services include Marine Engineering, application of new technologies, Naval Architecture, new vessel building projects, Port Engineering, vessels repair and maintenance.Work requires application of technical expertise/background in the fields of structure (Naval Architecture), and/or main and auxiliary machinery (Marine Engineering) and/or port facility and operations (Civil Engineering).Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule and monitor the following: projects, maintenance activities, and major improvements and modifications to facility assets.Coordinate with other units, divisions and departments in the execution of projects and maintenance activities in marine facilities.Lead facilities management (both Saudi Aramco and contractor personnel) in the performance of duties.Assure facilities construction and maintenance conforms to engineering design, specifications, codes, and standards.Review design proposals to assure compliance with scope, design, maintenance, and repair requirements.Prepares reports, studies, and recommendations for changes to marine facilities.Forecast requirements and overseas asset and equipment integrity, ensuring reliability for continuity of service provision.Ensure reports, logs, checklists, inspections, and asset record keeping are correct and up-to-date.Coordinate land use within facilities, and review external land use permits for conformity and planning development forecasts.As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Marine Engineering, Mechanical, Naval Arch) or Nautical Sciences and have at least 4 years of experience.Must have Knowledge and experience with international regulatory body requirements, classification standards, marine engineering practices, specifications and rules.Basic knowledge of economic principles to allow cost/benefit analysis to be part of decision-making process.Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of adaptability.Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both orally and in written English.Work Location and Work ScheduleWork Location: Within Saudi Arabia – To be specified in Job offerWork Schedule: Full Time – To be specified in Job offerJob Post DurationJob posting end date: 12/31/2026#J-*****-Ljbffr
