Job ID: | Amazon Commercial Services Pty LtdAmazon is seeking Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at our Delivery Station in Mulgrave, Melbourne.Our Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues.You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely.As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks general building maintenance.Learning about Amazon RME in Australia.Key job responsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.Basic QualificationsFormal Trade Qualifications: Certificate IIII in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Certificate IIII in Engineering OR Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner).Alternatively, equivalent trade qualifications formally recognised in Australia.Experience of planned preventative maintenance systemsExperience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systemsAbility to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawingsExperience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/invertersExperience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with CMMS systemsExperience with sortation machinesExperience with maintaining/configuring bar code scannersExperience with print and apply machinesAcknowledgement of country:IDE statement:Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.#J-*****-Ljbffr
