Maritime Operational PlannerCompany:Booz Allen HamiltonJob Number:R*******Overview:Support planning at theater, operational, and tactical levels with a focus on maritime support to Combatant Command contingency and operational plans.Develop schedules, plans of action and milestones, and products for planning, coordination, collaboration, and presentation.Provide analysis for maritime support plans in USAFRICOM and USEUCOM areas of responsibility.Analyze personnel and command and control (C2) requirements and capabilities to enable naval operations across the spectrum of conflict.Perform cross-echelon analysis of C2 and organizational constructs for stakeholders with a focus on the operational interface between Major and Numbered Fleets Commands, Naval Component Commands, Joint Force Maritime Component Commands when designated, and the related assigned and attached forces.Lead team efforts to organize, schedule, collaborate, task, and monitor key actions and milestones necessary to execute events of operational planning teams and cross-functional teams, and the Maritime Operations Center process in support of planning efforts.Facilitate participation in exercises, experiments, and other events as necessary to ensure the exploration, testing, revision, or iteration of naval integration actions.Recommend courses of action for C2 establishment of supported-supporting relationships, authorities, or rules of engagement, in conjunction with the staff judge advocate.Monitor functional Component Commander actions, including apportionment of assets, mission priorities, and tasking to subordinate forces.Provide expertise and support on doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures, concept of operations or concept of employment, and event after action reports.Describe capability requirements through an operational lens to assist decision-makers with resourcing and allocation decisions.Identify and document relevant doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy issues, and make recommendations for improvements to support warfighters.Basic QualificationsExperience supporting military planning at theater, operational, or tactical levelsExperience leading joint planning teams, operational planning teams, and battle rhythm eventsExperience planning large-scale planning events with military headquarters staff elementsExperience with the Joint Planning Process, Navy Planning Process, Marine Corps Planning Process, or Military Decision-Making Process, including adaptive planning and executionKnowledge of naval and joint doctrine, including Maritime Operations Center processesAbility to coordinate across staff functions and command echelonsAbility to brief senior-level customers, including general and flag officersAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeTS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degreeAdditional QualificationsMaster's degreeCompletion of Joint Professional Military Education Phase 1 and 2, Joint Advanced Warfighting School, Maritime Advanced Warfighting School, School of Advanced Warfighting, School of Advanced Military Studies, NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Course, or similar courseCompletion of the Maritime Operational Planners CourseClearanceTS/SCI clearance is required.Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationProjected compensation range: $86,****** to $198,****** (annualized USD).The estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.Identity StatementAs part of the application process, you are expected to be on camera during interviews and assessments.We reserve the right to take your picture to verify your identity and prevent fraud.Work ModelOur culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration.If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.Commitment to Non-DiscriminationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, local, or international law.Employment typeFull-timeJob FunctionManagement and Manufacturing; IT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
