TXT e-Tech, part of theTXT Group, is looking for aSoftware Engineerto join itsAerospace & Defencedivision.The successful candidate will contribute to the development of embedded avionics software for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft, working in an international, highly technological and innovative environment.The ideal candidate will have experience with Model-Based (MB) methodologies and, in particular, knowledge of the Mathworks suite (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coders).Main responsibilitiesFunctional and architectural modelling using a model-based approach;Definition and maintenance of software specifications and interfaces between avionics subsystems;Analysis of system requirements and traceability with respect to software models;Contribution to the continuous improvement of MB processes and software development methodologies.Technical skills requiredKnowledge of C programming language;Knowledge of Mathworks suite (e.g. System Composer, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coders, verification tools);Mastery of software verification concepts (e.g. testing, analysis, review);Nice to haveMastery of high-criticality software development concepts (e.g. knowledge of RTCA/DO-178C) and Model Based (MB) methodologies;Mastery of the concepts in RTCA/DO-331;Knowledge of System Modelling Language (SysML);Familiarity with requisitioning and behavioural modelling tools (e.g. CAMEO or similar);Mastery of Design Assurance Level and partitioning concepts (IMA approach).The profile is rounded off by an analytical approach and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, proactivity and initiative, and effective time management skills.Why choose TXT GROUPPermanent contract;Career opportunities in a fast-growing and profoundly changing company with international staff;Training on business-related topics;Corporate Benefits (health insurance, welfare, Ticket Restaurant, discounts as a group employee).Position is open to all applicants regardless of gender, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree ********.The company promotes equal opportunities and values diversity in all its forms.#J-*****-Ljbffr
