Alpinestars is the leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection and footwear manufacturer.For over 60 years the company has been providing the world's best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts with technologically advanced products that fuse protection, performance, innovation and style.We are currently in a solid expansion phase on the global market and are looking to reinforce our strong international teams with top talent from anywhere in the world.PositionJunior Product Developer – Gloves (Moto Apparel, Asolo)Main ResponsibilitiesSupport the team on a wide range of technical product development duties such as drafting, completing, and checking BOMs, cost file maintenance, and PLM related activities.Involved in material related activities, checking material quality upon arrival, and following up on related testing activities.Engage in suppliers' management actions, building solid working relationships with them.Support items quality checks and fittings, further developing technical skillset.RequirementsEducational background in Technical Product Development within the Sportswear and/or Performance wear fields.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) and in Illustrator.Fluency in English.Proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to work, solid communication skills and assertiveness.Previous experience in developing technical gloves considered a strong plus.Experience with BOMs and PLM systems considered an asset.Work hours flexibility considered a strong asset (close collaboration with US offices).Pattern Making skills and/or experience considered a strong plus.Interest in Motorsports and/or MTB sectors considered a strong plus.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProduct Management, Project Management, and ResearchIndustriesRetail Apparel and FashionSporting Goods Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
