Join to apply for the Accountant role at TMF GroupGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.TMF Group is a leading provider of administrative services, helping clients invest and operate safely around the world.As we're a global company with 11,000+ colleagues based in over 125 offices across 87 jurisdictions, we actively seek out people with the talent and potential to flourish at TMF Group, whatever their background, and offer job opportunities to the broadest spectrum of people.Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all.Discover the RoleThe primary responsibility of the Accountant is to work with the Accounting Manager and the other team members in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments.S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals.Furthermore, the Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting records of wages & salariesTreasury management, negotiating with banksVAT settlements and Periodic VAT settlements communicationChecking VAT registers; VAT returnTax paymentRelationships with Monidoc for e-invoicing issuesControl and monitoring of accounting recordsYear-end adjustment entries (for Statutory Financial Statements purposes)Keeping the Company's statutory accounting booksKey RequirementsIntermediate knowledge of English (B2)Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)High School Diploma and/or Degree EconomicsUp to 4 years' experience in similar OrganizationsGood client services skills and ability to meet required deadlinesKnowledge of Accounting and budget accountOperational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation mattersWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.)What's in it for you?Business academyZone 1 of Milan, Lombardy, ItalySeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/AuditingIndustries: Business Consulting and Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
