Dematic is looking for Team Lead Operations for his Customer Service Team, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Bologna.He/she will be working leading a group of people in order to manage and to control all the resident customer service activities to our Customer distribution Center in Anzola dell'Emilia We offer: Career Development Competitive Compensation And Benefits Pay Transparency Global Opportunities Learn More Here: Logistics and Supply Chain Careers at Dematic Chart your pathWhether you are an engineer, customer service agent, supply chain expert, or salesperson, Dematic has a role for you.Tasks and Qualifications: The Operation Team Lead is going to : The Team Lead for Plant Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the facility.The role involves managing the operational team and coordinating the activities required to maintain high standards of productivity, safety, and quality.The supervisor will be the main point of contact for operators and technicians and will address any technical or process-related issues that arise during plant operations.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate a team of workers together with Site Manager Monitor and supervise the daily operations of the plant, ensuring that all processes are executed according to company protocols and procedures.Ensure production targets are met, maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.Coordinate the team of operators, providing technical and operational support as needed to ensure smooth plant operations.Manage and optimize the plant's control systems (SCADA, PLC, etc.) to ensure operational parameters are within desired ranges and promptly address any detected anomalies.Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production.Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations, continuously monitoring safety and quality standards.Prepare periodic reports on plant performance and suggest improvements or modifications to operational processes as necessary.Liaise with management and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on the plant's status and production processes.Requirements: Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, or a related field.At least 3-5 years previous experience in operational supervision or plant management roles, ideally in automated or industrial sectors.Knowledge of industrial automation systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS).Ability to manage operational teams and interface with various internal stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational emergencies effectively.Understanding of safety and quality regulations applicable to the industrial sector.Required Skills: Leadership and team coordination capabilities.Strong technical expertise in plant operation and process optimization.Advanced knowledge of control systems and automation technologies.Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in dynamic and complex environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What can we further offer?An international environment where curiosity and proactivity is highly appreciated, Opportunity to know other countries and cultures Fast growing company Meal totally paid by the company Personal Computer and Smartphone A permanent contract Further details Dematic pays much attention to Diversity and guarantees equal opportunities.We believe strongly in both taking responsibility and being transparent with your data.For the new GDPR we manage only online applications and we'll not accept CVs by mail.Before meeting us, watch the videos We Are Dematic and our Solutions
