Direct message the job poster from Q1 Technologies, Inc.Business Unit Head – UK & EuropeDriving Excellence in Sales, Delivery, Business Development, and Client ServicesRole: CDC – SW Validation EngineerYears of exp - Above 7 years will be idealNo of positions - one positionDuration of the work.- This is a long-term opportunity.Min 1 Year and this will get extendedRole type: ContractFive-day work at OfficePrimary Function:This is for Truck – Infotainment SW validationThe System under consideration is Cockpit Domain controller (Infotainment + Telematics + Instrument Cluster) – System ValidationExperienced in SW Qualification Testing of In Vehicle infotainment (IVI), Telematics Feature Validation, Instrument Cluster validationWork with system engineers and software teams to create, execute, improve, develop and maintain integration test plans.Study component function requirements upfront to proactively design Test cases at a component/pre-system/system level.Via simulation tools, or directly using integration bench and/or vehicle, test the latest SW development release, create Test Report and provide feedback to Validation leads and quality Team.Defining component/pre-system/system test plans to validate requirements and functionalities as documented in the component specifications.Developing test scenarios, test applications and generating test procedures to properly and rigorously test the component/system requirements and functionalities.Performing software integration and troubleshooting of multiple applications involved in the projects under test.Executing tests to validate the requirements and functionalities as detailed in the test plan.Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing using DevOps.Working with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues (root cause driven troubleshooting).Operating Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) for regression testing as required.Creating and executing automatic regression tests/scripts, analyzing test results and driving issues to resolution.Performing regression testing as neededBugs review and troubleshootingIntegrate and ensure the validation of components, products and systems under development.Requirements:Experience in Embedded OS/environments (i.e. Linux, AUTOSAR, Android, etc.)Experience of vehicle electronics architectures and applications including CAN communication, J**** protocols and UDSExperience in usage of the standard tools for CAN networks (i.e. Vector CANalyzer, CANdela, etc.)Experience of Wireless Radio Technologies including short range communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth protocols and stacks)Experience about typical Vehicle FunctionsExperience of Internet related networking and application protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, MQTT, XMPP) and web based technologies (WEB services, dB, backend system architectures)Experience of SW testing processKnowledge of SW testingBase knowledge about Cyber Security conceptsExperience in using Tools/Sw such asEclipse / GitPostmanEnglish language: native or advanced levelRequired tools:CanCase-Canalyzer with j**** licenseSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Q1 Technologies, Inc. by 2xGet notified about new Software Validation Engineer jobs inTurin, Piedmont, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
