OverviewYour RoleAt our Product Company in Robassomero, we assemble hundreds of air compressors daily using tens of thousands of components sourced globally.To ensure smooth operations, we rely on timely, high-quality, cost-effective supplies.That's why sourcing is a strategic pillar of our business.Note:The original used a strong tag for "Puchasing Team Leader" which is kept in the responsibilities list below as a bold element if present.The role title is reflected in responsibilities rather than as a separate header to maintain clarity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a purchasing team (currently 8 members).Translate strategic goals into actionable team objectives.Monitor and assess team performance based on Atlas Copco's cultural behaviors.Achieve KPIs in sustainability, total cost of ownership (TCO), delivery, quality, and financials.Simplify supply chains, rationalize supplier base, and standardize components.Drive innovation and challenge the status quo.Manage global suppliers and support new projects.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.Support IT system integration and cross-functional process alignment.Shift team focus from administrative tasks to value-added activities.Operational FocusAnalyze product specifications to define sourcing strategies.Ensure procurement aligns with forecasts, service plans, and new product development.Develop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations.Build a vendor network delivering defect-free components at competitive prices.Evaluate suppliers using Atlas Copco standards (financial, technical, quality, logistics, cost).Lead projects to improve profitability, quality, and time-to-market.To succeed, you will needStrong experience in sourcing within manufacturing.Strong expertise in procurement and supplier management.Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Bonus: Experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Project.Bonus: Knowledge of compressor industry and legacy systems (AS400, SAP/MM).Excellent knowledge of english language both written and verbal.We encourage you to applyWe encourage you to apply even if you don\'t meet every single requirement.We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.In return, we offerA challenging opportunity to grow both soft and hard skills.Strategic involvement in decisions impacting business sustainability and profitability.A chance to contribute to the Product Company's growth and build a strong internal network across the Atlas Copco Group.Uniting curious mindsBehind every innovative solution, there are people working together to transform the future.With careers sparked by initiative and lifelong learning, we unite curious minds, and you could be one of them.#J-*****-Ljbffr
