On behalf of the Italian subsidiary of the group – SSC Italy – we are seeking passionate individuals with a strong background in space engineering and experience in real time operations to support one of our customers in Italy.If you are eager to make a significant impact in the space industry, apply now and embark on an extraordinary space journey with us.Requirements- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.- Proven experience in spacecraft operations, including direct involvement in LEOP and commissioning activities.- Strong knowledge of satellite subsystems.- Familiarity with flight dynamics and mission planning tools and ground control systems.- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in time-critical environments.- Advanced level of English and excellent communication skills.- Self-learning skills.- Experience in LEO missions will be a plus.Legal and Security Requirements- Applicants must be legally allowed to work in the EU and hold a European citizenship.Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.- Copy of passport and degree(s) certificate.- Good conduct certificate from the country where currently resident.- Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference checks.Responsibilities- As Spacecraft Operations Engineer you will be responsible for one or several subsystems in the satellites.The main tasks will be the following:- Flight Operations Procedures (FOP) preparation and validation- Preparation of and participation in validation activities and simulations- Contribution to LEOP execution for several launches, including shift support for few days.- Conducting commissioning activities during daytime, i.e. extended office hours including weekends.- Monitoring routine operations and reacting to anomalies.- Provision of on-call support outside office hours, for example to react to collision alerts.- Performing mission planning activities and generating corresponding products.- Executing flight dynamics tasks.- Offline analysis of the subsystem performance and reports generation- Anomaly reports handling (authoring, action processing and support of review boards)- Participation in and provision of training- Supporting the continuous improvement of operations- Work closely with the Spacecraft Operations Manager and the Ground Segment Operations Engineers.Benefits- Competitive remuneration package, recognizing the value of your skills and expertise.- Unique career opportunities, including the possibility of working in other countries with our SSC Group.- Personalized training and development programmes.To be considered for this PositionPrior to **********, please apply via our Job Application form.If not directly interested, feel free to share this Job Vacancy with your friends#J-*****-Ljbffr
