Join to apply for the GCP Data Engineer/Data Architect role at NTT DATA Europe & LatamNTT DATA, a Trusted Global Innovator, is among the leading IT service providers worldwide.With over 140,000 professionals in 50+ countries, we drive digital transformation by delivering tailored technological solutions.Our people are at the heart of what we do, fostering a culture of care, listening, and skill development.We create workplace spaces that promote community and constructive experience sharing.We are looking for talented individuals to help shape the future of data-driven decision making at NTT Data.Join usBuild large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP data processing frameworks.Use an analytical, data-driven approach to understand fast-changing business needs.Collaborate with the team to evaluate business priorities, liaise with key partners, and address data system requirements.Participate in project planning: identify milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements; track activities and task execution.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.5–10 years of experience in a data engineering role.Expertise in software engineering with Scala, Java, or Python.Advanced SQL skills – preference for BigQuery.Strong knowledge of Google Managed Services (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion).Experience with workflow management.Understanding of GCP batch and streaming architecture.Solid knowledge of data technologies and data modeling.Experience building modern, cloud-native data pipelines and operations with an ELT philosophy.Experience with data migration and data warehousing.Insight into organizing, normalizing, and storing complex data for both ETL and end users.Passion for designing ingestion and transformation of data from multiple sources into a cohesive data asset.Knowledge of developer tools, CICD, etc.Excellent communication skills with empathy toward end users and internal customers.Experience with the Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, HBase).Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.LocationSecurity Notice – Third Parties Posing as NTT DATA RecruitersNTT DATA recruiters will never ask for payment or banking information during the recruitment process.All official communications will come from an @nttdata.com email address.Avoid any email or phone messages from personal domains (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook, WhatsApp).If you suspect fraud, report it immediately.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelJob function: Information TechnologyIndustry: IT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of being interviewed at NTT DATA Europe & Latam by 2x.Get notified about new Data Engineer jobs in Salerno, Campania, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
