DescriptionThe opportunityAs R&D Team Leader inMonselice, you will join thePower Transformers Technologyorganization within business unit Transformers, contributing to the successful roadmap execution defined for your team.How you'll make an impactAs an R&D Team Leader your main task will be the coordination of a team of engineers to successfully execute and hand over R&D projects within the given budget, time and scope as defined by the Technology Manager and Global Product Managers.You will be responsible for line management and the development of the team and team members.As manager and resource owner, in coordination with the R&D Operations manager, you will lead and distribute work task, support the team and the project managers to drive the projects, implement existing and further develop efficient work processes to increase productivity as well as preparing annual budget and follow up execution.In the role you will collaborate directly with other R&D teams, different Hitachi Research Centers, receiving factories and engineering teams around the world, with a local focus for cross functional interaction.In R&D, you will encourage and support the team to challenge existing technology, propose projects and processes contributing to the global plans and processes.As part of your role, it is expected to have a direct involvement as a team member in some of the R&D projects, contributing with your technical expertise.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, electrical or computational science).More than 5 years of experience in engineering or R&D activities, preferably in Transformers business.It is preferable to have been in a management position or to have proven equivalent experience of leading teams.Experience of larger and multi-year projects will be considered a plus.You have a strong character, you are determined, result-oriented and have an open mind-set.You have a deep sense of ownership to deliver the assigned targets.You should be skilled at managing different types of people, be able to coach as well as motivate and inspire others.You are innovative and creative, and actively seek to challenge existing approaches.You are very familiar with R&D project management practices and processes.You work in a structured way, applying relevant methods, procedures, and tools.Your communication skills are strong, and yourEnglish & Italianlevel, both spoken and written are good.More about usWe offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.Wide range of benefits:Health insurancePension fundWelfareSmart workingFlexible working hoursCanteenQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.You may request reasonable accommodations by completing a general inquiry form on our website.Please include your contact information and specific details about your required accommodation to support you during the job application process.This is solely for job seekers with disabilities requiring accessibility assistance or an accommodation in the job application process.Messages left for other purposes will not receive a response.#J-*****-Ljbffr
