Senior Financial Analyst, Finops

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform financial reporting and support monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts.Support in monthly and quarterly financial closing activity in close coordination with business and accounting teams.Closely monitor and control OPEX budget for the business.Evaluate and question OPEX requirements and continuously benchmark cost productivity for the business.Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.Assist in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business team in a timely manner.Measure and monitor metrics for new business initiatives.Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner.Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over time.Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.Basic Qualifications3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experienceBachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experienceSix Sigma Black BeltExperience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligenceExperience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance EngineerPreferred Qualifications4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceMBA, or CPAKnowledge of TableauExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
