About the job Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Italy The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the companys operations in Italy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.This executive will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, providing strategic guidance to the leadership team and ensuring the companys financial health.The ideal candidate is a data-driven, business-oriented finance leader with experience in the retail sector and a strong track record of optimizing financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement financial strategies to support the companys growth objectives while ensuring long-term profitability.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring strong financial discipline.Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.Lead cost optimization and efficiency initiatives, ensuring profitability across all business channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale).Manage and optimize financial reporting, accounting, tax compliance, and internal controls in alignment with regulatory requirements.Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and external stakeholders.Oversee risk management, ensuring financial sustainability and mitigating potential business risks.Support M&A activities, fundraising, and investment strategies when necessary.Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to align financial goals with overall business performance.Implement and leverage financial technology tools to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.RequirementsProven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Finance Executive in the retail or consumer goods industry.Strong expertise in financial planning, P&L management, and cost optimization.Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance.Experience in multi-channel businesses (brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, wholesale) is a strong plus.Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.Strong analytical mindset, with experience using financial data and KPIs to drive business decisions.Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and digital finance solutions.Fluent in English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.What We OfferA high-impact leadership role within a fast-growing and innovative company.The opportunity to shape financial strategy and contribute directly to the companys expansion.A dynamic and collaborative environment focused on creativity, efficiency, and growth.Competitive compensation package, including performance-based incentives.#J-*****-Ljbffr
