Webuild is a global construction player specialized in building large works and complex infrastructure for the sustainable mobility, hydroelectric energy, water, green buildings and the tunnelling sectors.Webuild is the expression of 120 years of engineering experience applied in 50 countries, in five continents, thanks to the talent of 91,000 people from over 120 nationalities.With a total backlog reaching €65 billion (Consolidated Financial Results at June 30, ****), Webuild is a group guided by the passion for building and the pursuit of excellence, which renewed its commitment to building a sustainable future by applying its know-how to build innovative and valuable works.As part of organizational development, Webuild is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for its international projects, with an operational on-site assignment.The position will report functionally to Area Contract Management.Reported hierarchically to Project Contract Management, the candidate will be involved in the economic and contractual management of quantities and work progress (both towards the Client and Subcontractors), contributing to the formulation and evaluation of variations and the quantification of additional charges and costs in the event of reservations towards the Client and/or subcontractors.RoleMain responsibilitiesEconomic Evaluation of Active Contract VariationsIn coordination with Project Planning, Cost Control, Technical Services, Procurement and site engineers, contributes to the preparation of project variations, in particular with regard to their economic evaluation (including the formulation of new unit prices).Supports the definition of new unit prices when necessary.Work Progress Reports (SIL & SAL)Checks the progress of work on site and draws up internal and customer progress reports.Prepares the documents on which the job accounting is based, in particular the monthly, periodic and final progress reports.Follows the approval process until payment is made.Reserve ManagementIdentifies and supports the quantification of additional expenses and costs arising from adverse events subject to reserves with regard to the customer.Subcontract AdministrationChecks the progress of subcontracted work on site and draws up progress reports for subcontractors.In coordination with the Contracts Manager or Subcontracts Manager, manages subcontracts.It takes care of progress reports, active and passive reserves, and progress monitoring.RequirementsEducation: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields.Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the construction sector or similar fields, on projects of significant size and complexity.Languages: Advanced English (oral and written communication with international clients).Other: Certifications in safety and project management are considered a plus.Ability to read and interpret highly complex contracts and related technical attachments (measurements, drawings, price lists, technical specifications, etc.).SkillsExperience in managing complex infrastructure projects.Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams of technical staff, architects and engineers;Ability to read and interpret highly complex contracts and related technical annexes (quantity surveys, drawings, price lists, technical specifications, etc.).Ability to manage personal stress;Strong teamwork orientation;Market analysis and benchmarking skills;Excellent problem-solving skills;Flexibility and willingness to relocate;Process orientation;Ability to work collaboratively;Good organisational skills and attention to detail.Webuild is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All applications for vacant positions will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, age, disability or beliefs.#J-*****-Ljbffr
