OverviewLogistics Associate Trainee (12-Month FTC), MEL LogisticsAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.In other words, we're of Amazon Web Services by providing the right part, in the right place at the right time.Responsibilities- Maintain onsite parts room in AWS Data Centres, managing the custody of computer hardware through its lifecycle.- Receive parts, safely store parts, pick and deliver parts to hardware technicians, perform cycle counts, and ship faulty hardware back to the vendor.- Maintain inventory levels to ensure stock items are available to support build and repair activities.- Receive parts, check shipments, and issue parts as needed for internal customers.- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between sites.- Maintain accurate stock records for all items within our care.- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles.A day in the lifeYour day will be spent carrying out Logistical support functions for our Data Centers.This will involve physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock.The role will require some travel between sites to successfully complete tasks.Own transport to travel between sites will be required.You may be required to go into the Data Center
