Statistics Office Short description of the position: For the Eurac Research Statistic Office we are looking for a motivated collaborator supporting the Office in daily activities.TasksSupporting the Statistics Office in assisting the scientific staff in the collection, preparation, processing, analysis and interpretation/evaluation of empirical quantitative.Consulting Eurac researchers during the conception of research and research designs based on datasets of different sizes and topics.Working at the interface of exploratory, descriptive and multivariate data analysis.Undertaking administrative tasks to coordinate and support Eurac surveys workflow.RequirementsMsc Degree with scientific training focused on social sciences, economics or statisticsExperience and interest in one or more of the following areas is expected: research design,Surveys design, sampling methods, qualitative and quantitative techniquesStatistical and analytical skills (preferentially knowledge in SPSS, R)Excellent German and/or Italian, both written and spokenVery good English, both written and spokenGood planning and organization skillsCapacity to effectively communicate technical issues to a variety of audience, in both written and oral formThe ability to work independently and in teamDesired requirementsFamiliarity with software Survey MonkeyExperience and/or interest in policy evaluationWe offerIn-dept insight in a high number of research projects with the possibility to explore and consolidate sound competences in data analysis and research methodology.Fixed term contract of one year with the possibility to turn it into a permanent position upon mutual satisfaction between parties, approximately starting from March ****.The opportunity to work in a young international environment.A surrounding offering a high quality of life.Eurac Research has been elected among the best work places in Italy and offers many opportunities in combining work and family activities.How to applyInterested candidates should submit their application (CV, cover letter and further relevant documents) by **********.#J-*****-Ljbffr
