Engine Driveline Design EngineerFerrari has a most desirable track record, in Formula One as well as in GT production cars, record business results and voted one of the World's most powerful brands.Working with Ferrari means working with engineering excellence and innovation on the highest level.Above all Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our Engine Design Department, we are looking to hire anEngine Driveline Design Engineerbased in Maranello (Italy).You will be involved in the design and development of engine driveline components, working on high-performance solutions for Ferrari's next-generation engines.You will be responsible for the design of key rotating parts such as crankshafts, conrods, flywheels, and the entire valvetrain, as well as for defining technical specifications for suppliers.You will collaborate closely with suppliers to define development plans, monitor key milestones, and ensure the optimization of new parts in terms of performance, weight, and cost.You will also work to maximize component transferability across all engine families and complete technical specifications in collaboration with the concept area.In this position, you will be responsible for:Designing engine driveline components including crankshaft, conrods, flywheel, all rotating parts, and the entire valvetrainDefining technical specifications for suppliers and ensuring alignment throughout the development processDeveloping component designs from concept study to final releaseOptimizing new parts for performance, weight saving, and/or costManaging supplier relationships, development plans, and monitoring key milestones and intermediate resultsEnsuring maximum transferability of components among all engine familiesCollaborating with the concept area to complete technical specifications for components and enginesIn order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.You should have proven experience in the design of driveline parts and general mechanical components.A passion for engines and continuous development solutions to achieve performance targets is essential.In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment; a positive attitude towards teamwork, strong communication skills, and accountability are important skillsets to manage activities and responsibilities of the role.Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.Please apply directly on Ferrari.com (Careers pages)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.Location: Maranello, ItalySeniority: Associate, Mid-LevelContract duration: Permanent contractFerrari offer: Company sports & fitness facilities, company restaurant with seasonal menus and wellness options, preventive health programs for staff and children, scholarships, school book refunds, summer camp, Ferrari events and Family Day.#J-*****-Ljbffr
