Academic Year of Fall ****-Spring **** | 10-Month Commitment | Reports to the Student Life DirectorWho We AreLiving & Learning International (L&LI) is a faith-based study abroad organization that provides academically excellent global programs where students live in community, engage the challenges of the world, and learn to respond with a biblical Christian worldview.We work with 40+ institutions across the United States in semester, summer, and short-term study abroad programs.Be part of a charismatic and dedicated team of professionals committed to providing quality study away experiences to U.S. College and University students.Supervise L&LI Apartments and Student LifeProvide an example of a Christ follower to every student in the L&LI program: by behavior, actions, and wordsLive in a Dominican Convent in a contemporary neighborhood of Rome alongside studentsMaintain awareness of the semester calendar & schedule and communicate to students both in-person and via email/WhatsApp/social media about activities and eventsMaintain attention to the property, including but not limited to keeping receipts, reporting maintenance needs to the program/convent staff, completing a convent inventory, and maintaining overall cleanliness, health, & comfort of student housingComplete housing check-in & check-out processes with studentsAct as the point person for all student questions related to health concerns, questions, and/or issuesMaintain student health and respond to health concerns, and clinic needs alongside the Director of Student LifeFile incident reportsAttend L&LI staff meetings weeklyComplete 4-6 office hours per week through assigned department roleDisciple StudentsMediate challenges and conflicts among students, in collaboration with the Director of Student LifeUphold and encourage students' behavior, words & actionsRespond directly to issues, concerns, rumors, and/or actions that violate or could lead to violation of the Living Above Reproach (Behavior Commitment) contractReport any violations to the Director of Student Life within 24 hours of any incidentBe available and approachable to studentsPlan and lead bi-weekly discipleship meetings with every student under your careWeekly lead and facilitate small group discipleship conversationsAssist students in understanding the application of all they are learningAdvocate for professors, including the Program DirectorStock and maintain prevention measures and supplies for potential health issues (first-aid kits)Budget and account for all funds given for discipleship meetings, and provide a financial report to the Program Director at the end of the monthLead Student ActivitiesAid in the planning/marketing of activities and community events including communication.Lead and/or participate in all student activities.Provide educational, cultural, and social weekly activities for studentsAid in the planning and execution of weekly program meals for studentsCompensationResident Coordinators will personally fundraise $6,000 while L&LI will provide coverage of the remaining items.2 Round-Trip Airline Tickets (returning back to the USA over Christmas Break)Housing (7 months) duringSemester Programs dates , Staff Training, and DebriefCell phone (7 months)Italian InstructionCultural Activities/TravelFood AllowanceStipend ($3,000/semester)Apply Today#J-*****-Ljbffr
