OverviewWithin the Group Chief Sustainability Office function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.ResponsibilitiesHelping shaping Generali's position and approach on emerging sustainability trends to capture opportunities and anticipate risks for the current strategy cycle and beyondDetecting emerging sustainability trends and drive thinking on how sustainability matters should be incorporated across our business functionsDeveloping strategies and initiatives to reduce the company's carbon footprintConducting research and analysis on sustainability & ESG trends including climate change, social resilience, and workforce transformationContributing to the Group's knowledge and positioning on relevant sustainability topics beyond climate such as biodiversity and AIMonitoring and reporting on sustainability metrics and progress towards goalsEngaging with stakeholders, including employees, investors, suppliers, and partners to promote sustainability awareness and practicesStaying updated on relevant regulations, policies, and best practices on sustainability and climatePreparing and presenting reports, proposals, and presentations on sustainability projects and achievementsRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements : Course work in Sustainability, ESG Strategy, Climate Studies, or a related field8-12 years total experience, of which 5 in sustainability, climate change, ESG, or strategy consultingStrong understanding of sustainability principles, key trends and technologies, and governance practicesExperience working in or supporting financial services organizations (insurers, banks, etc.) on their sustainability strategy and implementationUnderstanding of key sustainability trends and technologies (e.g., electric vehicles, renewable energy, nature & biodiversity, etc.)Understanding of current sustainability regulations and how they impact business practicesPreferred qualificationsMaster's degree in sustainability, business, or actuarial sciencesExperience with sustainability regulations and standards (e.g., CSRD, SFDR)Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and practicesSoft SkillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentHigh level of proficiency with quantitative analysis (e.g., using Excel) and developing presentations for communications purposes (e.g., using PowerPoint)Company ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.Established in ****, Generali is present in over 50 countries in the world, with a total premium income of € 82.5 billion in ****.With around 82,000 employees serving 70 million customers, the Group has a leading position in Europe and a growing presence in Asia and Latin America.At the heart of Generali's strategy is its Lifetime Partner commitment to customers, achieved through innovative and personalised solutions, best-in-class customer experience and its digitalised global distribution capabilities.The Group has fully embedded sustainability into all strategic choices, with the aim to create value for all stakeholders while building a fairer and more resilient society.#J-*****-Ljbffr
