Strategic Business Analyst – Thales Alenia SpaceWe are looking for a Strategic Business Analyst to support market research, business development, and investment activities in the space sector.Key DutiesUndertake market research & analysis, and assess market trends, specifically for Human and Robotic Space Exploration, Space Infrastructure and Science domainsIdentify new business opportunities and define value propositionsDevelop and document business cases to substantiate new opportunities, identifying perimeter of the initiative/project, business models, alternatives, strengths and weaknesses, benefits and risks, and a preliminary assessment of involved costs, investments, revenues, timescale, organization & governance aspectsFor selected initiatives of interest, develop and document a more detailed business plan, further analyzing service or product idea, roadmap, commercialization approach and associated most suitable organizational structure, customers and competitors stance, industrial response implications, amount and source of initial funding, financial modeling and financial forecasts including ROI and cash flow forecastsContribute to assessment and due diligence for possible investments and M&AsIn close cooperation with Domain Operations and Production Units, contribute to the preparation and justification of evolution roadmap for industrial CAPEX (new facilities, new plants...)In support to the Product Line Managers and Product Managers, contribute to business estimates and planning for existing product linesIn support to bids preparation,(i) assess customer requests for specific business forecasts or justifications and prepare the associated response to be included in the proposal data package,(ii) contribute to the identification of business and financial risks and opportunities to be included in the risk registerRequired Skills and QualificationsMaster's degree in Finance, Economics or Business AdministrationAt least 5 years of experience in market research & analysis, financial modeling, preparation & development of business cases and business plansPrevious experience in corporate strategy and finance are preference criteriaData analysis and visualizationBusiness and financial modelingStrong written and verbal communication, including technical writing skillsCritical thinkingStorytellingComfortable with uncertainty, complexity and ambiguityUnderstanding of (space) systems engineering conceptsFluent in English languageAbility to work with cross-functional teamsLocationTorino (Italy).Permanent full-time position.How to ApplyApply now and join Thales Alenia Space.#J-*****-Ljbffr
